Keep your fluffy friends top of mind this weekend with two events benefitting local animal organizations. If you’re in the mood for something a little more sophisticated, catch some music in Audubon Park, a French Film Festival at the Prytania, or get to know the homes of the Bayou St. John neighborhood. Plus, the fun doesn’t have to stop on Sunday when there’s a new art installation in honor of International Sculpture Day on Monday.

1. French Film Festival — The 20th annual French Film Festival presented by New Orleans Film Society showcases classic and contemporary French Cinema at Prytania Theater April 21-27. Tickets vary.

2. Bayou St. John Home Tour  See the city’s colorful homes from a whole new perspective. Tour the inside of seven houses along the bayou on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets $20 to $25.

3. Brunch Fest — After getting rained out on its original date, Brunch Fest returns for its second year this weekend. Taking place at Crescent Park, the event kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. with food, drinks, and pups galore. Tickets $5.
