Happy… whatever you celebrate! Take a look at how to spend the holiday weekend, from Christmas-themed programming to a menorah lighting (early next week) and more.

All Weekend

1. NOLA ChristmasFest — Hop on the Kringle Carousel, explore carnival rides and giant inflatables, and test your skills at an indoor skating rink. This year’s ChristmasFest also includes an ice slide, a hall of decorated trees, children’s crafts, and more. General admission is $20.

2. The Victory Belles’ “A Vintage Christmas” — Let freedom and nostalgia ring this holiday season with a show at The National WWII Museum featuring favorite Christmas tunes from an era gone by. Tickets from $29.50 online.

3. DJ Soul Sister’s Holiday Jam Boogie at a seasonally appropriate evening of Soul Sister’s weekly Hustle at Hi-Ho Lounge starting at 11 p.m. No cover!

4. Firebird: A Soulful Christmas with Robin Barnes Songstress Robin Barnes and friends take care of Christmas Eve caroling on Saturday night at Three Keys inside the Ace Hotel. Admission is free with RSVP; show starts at 8 p.m.

Chabad-Chanukah at the Riverwalk   — It doesn’t fall on the weekend, but Chabad-Chanukah at the Riverwalk ensures a Happy Tuesday on Dec. 27 from 5-7 p.m. Witness the lighting of Louisiana’s largest menorah during this celebration studded with food, music, and entertainment. Free.
