Come hungry for scares and music (and food) this weekend. Krewe of Boo gets in the Halloween spirit on Saturday, while the annual Oak Street Po-Boy Fest happens Sunday — and with an added craft beer element. Rap and hip hop legends take over at UNO all weekend, including Anthony Hamilton, Trick Daddy, Bun B., and Mystikal while comedian (and Gulf South native) Tig Notaro performs at the Joy on Friday. Get all the details below.

1. Tig Notaro at the Joy TheaterComedian Notaro, who grew up on the Gulf Coast, brings her candid (yet searing) standup to the Joy Theater at 9 p.m. on Friday. Tickets $35.

2. Krewe of Boo — The annual parade through the “Boo Carre” features eerie floats and frightful throws starting at 6:30 p.m. This year’s route parades down Elysian Fields to North Peters Street then down Decatur Street to Canal Street with a quick detour down Bourbon. Find the full route online. Free.

3. Legends of Southern Hip Hop at UNO The UNO Lakefront Arena hosts Mystikal, Juvenile, Trick Daddy, Bun B, and more at 8 p.m. Tickets from $48 online.
