Another weekend full of fun in New Orleans! Here in NOLA, there’s always something to do, whether it’s a new restaurant opening, live music, a Saints game or a festival — our weekends are packed with fun. This weekend, among other things, we enjoyed dinner at Camellia Grill, a Hell Yes Fest show at The New Movement Comedy Theater and a delicious Bloody Mary in Mid-City! See what we did below and share with us your weekend adventures on Facebook and Twitter!
What we ate: I can haz a cheezburger? Yes you can and you can get it in Poboy form at Camellia Grill, a local and visitor favorite. Known for their large serving sizes and delicious burgers, the Cheeseburger Poboy at Camellia Grill is a must.
What we saw: This weekend we enjoyed a number of shows from Hell Yes Fest. This is a shot from The Megaphone Show at The New Movement. The show is a weekly storyteller series where the guest tells stories from their life and a TNM improv troupe reinacts them — Joey Greco from Cheaters was the storyteller, so you can imagine the hilarity that ensued.
What we drank: A morning favorite in New Orleans, we enjoyed a (few) Bloody Marys during the Saints – Falcons game at Bayou Beer Garden. Served with spicy green beans, celery, olives and lemon and lime — this classic cocktail is an eye-opener!
