Hot Buttered Rum Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. rum (preferably spiced)
  • 2 oz. hot water
  • 1/2 oz. agave nectar
  • 1 tbsp. spiced butter: 1 stick butter, soft; 1 cup Steen’s cane syrup; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Recipe: 

  • Vigorously mix together spiced butter ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until firm.
  • Pour rum, hot water, and agave into a glass. Float a spoonful of spiced butter on top, and stir to dissolve. Enjoy while hot!
