NOLA Eats: Hot Buttered Rum Holiday Cocktail

Hot Buttered Rum Recipe
- 1 1/2 oz. rum (preferably spiced)
- 2 oz. hot water
- 1/2 oz. agave nectar
- 1 tbsp. spiced butter: 1 stick butter, soft; 1 cup Steen’s cane syrup; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- Vigorously mix together spiced butter ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until firm.
- Pour rum, hot water, and agave into a glass. Float a spoonful of spiced butter on top, and stir to dissolve. Enjoy while hot!
