Being a know-it-all isn’t a bad thing, especially in the world of trivia.

Being a know-it-all isn’t a bad thing, especially in the world of trivia. Tuesdays in New Orleans hold some of the best trivia nights and pub quizzes around with fun local hosts and prizes including bar tabs to keep the night going.

For more detailed information about each trivia night, including admission prices (most events are free, so don’t worry) and themes, contact the individual establishments.

Tuesday Trivia in New Orleans

Siberia

Where: 2227 St. Claude Ave., (504) 265-8855

When: 7 p.m.

What: This laid-back dive bar and music venue on St. Claude Avenue offers a general trivia night hosted by writer Kerry Leigh. Occasionally they’ll throw in a fun Rock n’ Roll trivia night, hosted by Alexander Fleming and presented by Bourbon Street’s Skully’z Records where winners can receive a $30 bar tab and random promo items from the record shop.

When: 7:30 p.m.

What: This lively sports bar in the Irish Channel hosts a fun general trivia night, but get here early as it fills up fast, especially on big game nights. While you’re testing your knowledge, enjoy a catfish po-boy or their delicious sweet potato fries.

Bulldog Mid-City

When: 8:00 p.m.

What: Located in the heart of Mid-City, The Bulldog hosts its trivia night from 8-10 p.m. with prizes for first, second, and third places. Whether you win or lose, you can still enjoy one of their 61 draft beers or 100+ bottled beers from all over the world.

Dat Dog

What: Hit up the original Dat Dog location for their weekly trivia night for your chance to win a $30 gift card to use at one of their three locations.

Bayou Beer Garden

What: Get here early for a fantastic happy hour from 4-7 p.m. and stay for the trivia. Bonus points if you win the bar tab from their weekly game!

What: Grab your friends, and make your way to this neighborhood watering hole and music venue to test your knowledge at their general trivia night.

What: Head down to the CBD to experience JEOPARTY! Trivia Tuesday at The District. Prizes have ranged from bar tabs to bottles of whiskey.

What: This wild and wonderful trivia night is constantly evolving and can sometimes consist of physical challenges, “Name that Theme Song,” and more to keep that brain of yours moving to win that great bar tab.
