One might be inclined to think that August in New Orleans is pretty slow: Summer is peaking, people are getting that last vacation in before school starts again and July in New Orleans was jam packed with great stuff, like Essence Fest and Tales of the Cocktail. In typical New Orleans fashion, we’re impervious to conventional wisdom and have packed August with some great events too! Two of our favorites are COOLinary New Orleans and the Satchmo SummerFest.
