Malls and Outlets
The Shops at Canal Place are a great way to shop large national and international brands with stores like Anthropologie, Brooks Brothers, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Tory Burch. Starting at 8 a.m. on Black Friday, The Shops at Canal Place will serve complimentary coffee, pastries, and mimosas while you shop, plus live music to complete the festive atmosphere.
The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk
The Riverwalk Outlets may offer deals all year round, but Black Friday is extra special. Shops deals at well-known outlets such as Coach, Le Creuset, Loft, and Neiman Marcus. There are plenty of great dining options at the Riverwalk as well, so you’ll be able to refuel!
Local Boutiques and Brands
Porter Lyons is a local jewelry designer with a storefront in the French Quarter offering fashion and fine jewelry plus custom designs. Black Friday starts early for Porter Lyons – on Monday, November 25th with 25% off sitewide and an additional 30% off sale. On Thanksgiving Day, they’ll bump it up to 25% off sitewide with an additional 50% off. On Cyber Monday, Porter Lyons is offering 60% off sitewide and 15% off one of a kind pieces.
A boutique women’s clothing store, Hemline was founded in New Orleans and expanded to locations across the south. Hemline is starting holiday shopping a little early with its “Purple Wednesday.” Each location will be offering 30% off all items in-store on Wednesday, November 27 (the day before Thanksgiving).
A contemporary menswear boutique in downtown New Orleans, Friend offers clothing, hats, and other accessories. On Black Friday, Friend is offering 20% off on all apparel.
A New Orleans staple, Fleurty Girl offers accessories, home goods, and apparel with a New Orleans flair. On Small Business Saturday, in-store shoppers have the chance to draw their own discounts at the register! Possible discounts range from 5% to 100%.
Blue Cypress Books
Local independent bookstore Blue Cypress Books is participating in Small Business Saturday. The shop will be offering 20% off new books and a free “Read or Die” or “Read More Books” tote when you spend $75 or more. Blue Cypress will also have a bargain book pop-up sale in its courtyard space.
Mignon Faget is an iconic New Orleans jewelry designer whose work prominently features the fleur de lis and other classic New Orleans imagery. On Black Friday, Mignon Faget is offering 25% storewide.
A local boutique selling shoes, handbags, and accessories, Feet First is offering 30% off select items with a special trunk show by a local jewelry designer on Black Friday. On Small Business Saturday, Passion Lilie clothing will be 20% off and all guests will get a free gift with and purchase over $150. FAIT will also bring its mobile greenhouse to the shop to help you accessorize your home with a little festive greenery for the holidays.
Dirty Coast is a New Orleans-based T-shirt company known for its witty phrases and truisms about life in the Crescent City. On Black Friday, shoppers can get 20% off in-store and online, while on Small Business Saturday the 20% off discount applies to in-store purchases only.
