Snowball stands are closed, seasonal flavors are popping up on menus all over the city, and bright color palettes are falling away (see what we did there?) in favor of richer, deeper hues: fall is officially here.
New Orleans is a colorful year-round, but these autumnal months, in particular, offer up a cozy and visually enticing glimpse of the city, from autumn wreaths on historic homes in the Garden District to subtly changing trees in Lafayette Square in the Central Business District. So while the hours are growing shorter, get comfy with a book and deliciously warm drink, or make time to get outside and take in the colors of fall.
