Part festival and part conference, New Orleans Entrepreneur Week celebrates all things innovation and entrepreneurship from March 25 – 29th, 2019. During the weeklong event, attendees are invited to attend pitch competitions, networking events, workshops and keynotes from established professionals from all over the country. The events may change each year, but one thing that NOEW (pronounced ‘KNOW-Y’ by those in the know) has consistently provided is access – to renowned business leaders, like-minded innovators and mutual hustlers. In its 11th installment, a few things have changed for the annual event this year. Read on for all the things you need to know(y) about NOEW 2019.

It’s a Tulane University/Idea Village production:

New Orleans Entrepreneur Week has been a successful production of The Idea Village for the past decade, but the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University has partnered to co-produce this year’s event. This new partnership brings the university’s connections and expertise to the growing conference, and will help expand the business school’s current footprint from supporting entrepreneurs at Tulane University to those in communities across the Gulf Coast.

NOEW is happening in your neighborhood:

Citywide events will take place from March 25th-27th, engaging the region with pitch competitions hosted by local partners, including the Junior League of New Orleans, The Downtown Development District and Fund 17, among others. Don’t miss the Junior League of New Orleans’ Women Entrepreneur Fellowship on March 25that 6 pm at NOLA Brewery. One female founder will win a $7,500 grant plus mentoring and in-kind services. This year’s finalists include Cocktail & Sons, FAIT I NOLA, Girls Gone Buff, Southern Swings Nail Bar & Spa, & Visionary Entertainment Media Group.

Start NOEW with the Kickoff Party:
