GoNOLA Flickr Pick of the Week: Oak Street Po-Boy Festival

The countdown is on to the 2012 Oak Street Po-Boy Festival in New Orleans celebrating an iconic New Orleans food and great local music.

We are eight days away from one of the most delicious days of the year – Oak Street Po-Boy Festival! On Sunday November 18, the crowds will swarm the uptown street to celebrate Gambit’s Best Food Festival with delicious food, great music and a little history on one of New Orleans’ culinary staples, the po-boy. As if the festival wasn’t awesome enough already, Abita will be sponsoring and the event will support local musicians through the Tipitina’s Foundation. I can drink and eat to that, what about you?
