Summer has definitely arrived in New Orleans! With so many festivals to attend, foods to try and things to see, you just don’t have time to let the Summer sun slow you down. The perfect way to cool down your day is with a nice cold treat. The New Orleans treat of choice is the snoball! In other states, this may be known as an ice cone or sno-cone. Here in New Orleans, this Summer favorite is made up of a collection of ice shavings with your choice of flavored syrup. With so many flavors to try, you can make it your duty to travel the city in search of the perfect snoball and flavor. Here is a list of a few places to get you started on your journey.
Hansen’s has been around since 1939. This is definitely a local favorite. Make this one of your first stops. Start your sno-ball journey with a root beer flavor.
