Quick! Name another city on the face of this planet where you can catch a musical tribute to a trumpeter named after a founding father, watch a late night burlesque show, attend an open call for models, learn how to turn used building material into art, and catch a real life HBO character in action. Stumped? Good, because it’s only in New Orleans. And only this weekend. Enjoy:

Friday, February 4

Leroy Jones at Preservation Hall– New Orleans trumpeter Leroy Jones will take the stage at the legendary Bourbon Street institution Preservation Hall for a tribute to trumpet great Thomas Jefferson.
