This weekend in New Orleans, parades are the name of the game. It all begins in the French Quarter, where a walking parade will take the streets by storm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sees the first of this season’s back-to-back parades along Uptown’s St. Charles Avenue route. Head downtown on Sunday for the Mystic Krewe of Barkus, where dogs and their owners will parade through the French Quarter. If parades aren’t your style, there are plenty of live music options for the weekend ahead.
